One of the easiest items to lose on your travels are cameras and camcorders. What makes this particularly sad are the lost memories captured on film which can never be replaced through insurance.

There are a number of visual mediums online like Flickr and YouTube where recorded data can be shared but nothing for the purpose of recovering lost or stolen property. What I would like to propose is an upload service for lost videos, photos and even audios where if found can be shared online for the owners to identify. This could be archived on the service with search options for the time of recording, date recovered and where it was found. The more sensitive images (such as sex vids!) could be password protected giving only the search data.

The image above for instance could provide a thumbnail display to click on showing the typical data commonly lost on travels. Rewards could even be offered to the finder?
