Comment Weblogs

Remember usenet? You posted once and a million eyes saw your prose in one shot. Usenet is still around but it has all but disappeared from mainstream internet cognizance in favor of web based forums and other friendly-face channels. Trying to get out a single idea to a uniform set of eyeballs in this sea of fragmented message boards and comment spaces, is no longer as possible as it was with Usenet. You need to post horizontally across a hundred services to even try.
Comment Weblogs would solve this problem in today's Web 2.0. world. With it, you post a comment at any web place - a blog or message forum, then click "Comment Blog This". Your comment then appears, in various formats, across many services in one shot. In some cases it is the complete comment. In other cases, it is a teaser back to the source (in many cases it might be both!). Now the comment author no longer has to pool all his writings in one place to make sure everyone he is linked to in Web 2.0 World. Rather, he she simply relies on the Comment Blog to do that for him.
The output would work much like Twitter and its API would be very easily assimilated and re-incorporated so that services like Facebook, MySpace, common blogs, etc., could all 'watch' the comments of others as they are littered all around the web.
This idea is worth millions to anyone NOT lazy enough to execute.
